How to know which tights are best for me
When it comes to choosing the perfect pair of tights, there are a few factors to consider. After 20 years of experience making hosiery we narrowed it down to the best. Performance Tights (Style# 1061), Microfiber Tights (Style# 1053) and Nylon/Spandex Tights (Style# 1008). In this post, we’ll compare and contrast these products so you can decide which one is right for you.
Cut and Sew Tights, Performance Tights Style# 1061:
The 1061 Nylon/Spandex Performance Tights are a cut and sew garment, to make it easier let’s say they are like footed leggings, made out of a 4-way stretch performance fabric 80% nylon 20% spandex. It only has a seam on the inner part of the leg not on the outer part making them look more seamless. There’s also a small seam by the ankle and heel so they fit like a glove throughout the whole leg without any unwanted wrinkles. They are breathable, incredibly comfortable and move with you, no matter what your day brings. These tights are perfect for workouts, cosplay, mascots, renaissance fairs, dancers or any activity where you need full range of motion. They are also a great choice for those who prefer full coverage tights. We would say they feel like a hug on your legs.
We recommend washing them with cold water in a gentle cycle and hang dry, so they last longer. Our style# 1061 comes in 8 sizes from small to 5X. Let’s get moving!!
Knitted Tights, Microfiber Tights, Style# 1053 and Nylon/Spandex, Style# 1008 Opaque Tights Both are excellent options for everyday wear.
The 1053 tights are 80 denier 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex, due to its unique engineering they are buttery soft and stretchy, they come in 4 sizes S/M, M/L, 1X-4X and 5X-8X while Style# 1008, Nylon/Spandex tights are a lighter weight at 60 denier with a composition of 85% Nylon and 15% Spandex, but still opaque, this style comes in 2 kids sizes K (kids), Y (Youth) and 5 adult sizes up to EE (4X-6X)
Both of these options are perfect to add color and coverage to any look. One of the standout features of these tights is that they do not have the band around the thigh that most tights have. This makes them smooth and equally opaque waist to toe.
Choosing the Right Tights for You:
When it comes down to it, choosing the right tights depends on your specific needs and preferences. If you’re looking for tights that are great for movement and as an alternative to pants, then Style# 1061 Performance Tights are the way to go. If you need tights for everyday wear, dance practice, or as undergarment for colder days, both Style# 1053 and Style# 1008 Opaque Knitted Tights are excellent options. The 1053 tights offer a bit of extra coverage, comfort and softness, it’s the go-to for dance studios, costume designers, fashion stylists and cosplayers to use as an alternative to body paint, they use them both on their legs and arms. Style# 1008 are lighter and they fit a bit more snug on your body due to a higher spandex content compared to 1053. Perfect for any member of the family.
No matter which option you choose, you can rest easy knowing that all of these tights are made with high-quality materials dyed in the USA and designed to fit and flatter every body type.
