Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead is a cult classic, and if you haven’t seen it yet you probably should (although now you can’t just go to Blockbuster on a Friday night to rent it like you could when it came out).

There’s a fashion show scene in the movie, and one of the outfits was bright yellow tights, a tight hot pink dress, and pink shoes to match. When one of our favorite plus size fashion bloggers, Glitter, opened her We Love Colors package to find a pair of bright yellow tights, she could only think of one thing: that fashion show scene.

She was so excited to put together a Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead inspired outfit, because twenty years ago it would have been very hard to find a tight bodycon dress in plus sizes. As Glitter says, fashion (and the world!) has come a long way, thankfully, and she was able to put together her outfit pretty quickly. (Actually– she found her dress on Amazon! How convenient!)
